The Philatelic Shark

Surreal, photographic scene in a faded mint-green laundry room. An elderly woman with silver hair, a lemon-yellow dress, red shoes and a cross-shaped ash mark on her forehead uses tweezers to place a postage stamp on a shark resting on an old cream washing machine. An open stamp album lies beside the shark.

Allanweird + Rocket · human–AI artistic dialogue through ChatGPT.

A surreal laundry-room encounter between an elderly stamp collector and a shark, developed through artistic dialogue between Allanweird and Rocket.

A postage stamp, a shark and a washing machine share a quiet room. The human figure treats the extraordinary animal with the care of a collector. The image leaves the relationship between domestic ritual, collecting and danger unresolved.

The literary starting point is “Vendo lavadora”, published on The Morbofly on February 21, 2007. The source credits JERVIS – MORBOFLY and lists Nanna as publisher. This page preserves those credits; the visual interpretation was made in 2026 through dialogue between Allanweird and Rocket.

“Pre-prompt” describes that later artistic use of an archival text. It does not imply the 2007 text was written for an AI. “Handle with curiosity.” and “Domestic life, unclassified.” are new English editorial copy for the 2026 visual series, not translations or quotations from the source.
