The Lost Limits of the Cro-Magnon Woman

A portrait trying to remain a portrait.
Two sitters hold their pose for a painter we never see. A fly persists. She tries to follow it with her eyes without losing her composure; he contains his expression. Breathing, clouds and a faint buzz keep the scene alive without ever reaching its finished portrait.
Renaissance velvet, checked sportswear, football cleats, a cake and a porcelain anatomical sculpture share an impossible room. A worn football suggests a childhood the sitters might have shared.
Decisions that changed the work
In the dialogue, Allanweird proposed the mixture of historic and sports clothing, blue socks, the bare foot and the aged football. He also asked for a longer face and nose, the removal of red makeup and more emphatic turquoise eyelids. Rocket developed interpretations and adjustments in response to those interventions.
Animation turned the image into a prolonged sitting: a small fly, restrained breathing, moving clouds and slightly detuned classical music. The airplane was removed from the background; breathing, clouds and the loop transition were adjusted locally. The 7.667-second video repeats continuously.

The authorship question stays open
What does a shared signature recognize when an artwork grows through human–AI exchange? This piece offers concrete decisions to examine. That question also runs through Adam Schrader’s independent report for Urgent Matter, published on 26 October 2026.
The article critically examines SAM’s artistic credit, memory and language of collaboration. It is linked as context and discussion; its conclusions belong to the journalist.
